Outdoor Pools and Splash Pads near Walpole and Norfolk

Walpole’s Center Pool/Splash Pad and South Pool are a great deal for residents and a reasonable price for non-residents too. Bellingham’s Little Angels Splash Pad at Silver Lake will be opening June 3 for just $7/vehicle each day.

The Hockomock YMCA (Foxboro, Franklin, etc) are moderately affordable options with pools and spray parks. The Vanderbilt Club in Norwood also offers a reasonable summer rate. Park Terrace in Plainville is a great upper-mid level option with slides, floating trampoline, and toddler pools.

Those who are able to pay $1500/family or more could consider the Adirondack Club in Franklin and Life Time Athletic in Westwood for extensive outdoor options including waterslides.

Lake Beaches near Walpole and Norfolk

Houghton’s Pond in Milton is free admission with a nice shallow beach, but can be crowded on weekends. Hinkley Pond in Medfield has affordable day rates, and Sweatt Beach in Wrentham sells season passes to Wrentham, Norfolk, and Plainville residents. Hale Reservation in Westwood is notably pricier but includes a tremendous range of activities including swim/boating lessons, crafts, and more.

Worth Driving For

Breezy Picnic Grounds in Douglas has huge waterslides and a guarded lake beach. There are also some great free splash pads in Braintree (Watson Park) and Belmont (Beaver Brook).
